AARP membership offers a variety of discounts and savings to its members. You can get a 10% discount on eligible pharmaceuticals at Walgreens or Walmart, and Vision Care at Target. Additionally, you can get discounts on hearing aids, dental care, long-term health insurance, supplemental health insurance, home, auto, property and pet insurance. You can also take the course at a discounted rate (in a classroom or online), and you may qualify for a discount on your car insurance upon completion.
Check with your agent for more information. AARP membership also offers discounts on travel arrangements, select restaurants, groceries, gas, and car services. However, many of these same discounts are available to all older adults, whether they are an AARP member or not.
